I’m sure all of us have been in the situation where we’ve had an mp3 and not known the name, or had a collection of mp3s that are tagged poorly and need to be cleaned up. In my case I had hundreds of mp3s that I had recovered from a harddrive that were all named 8 random characters. I used picard to rename about 80% of them back. I was holding off about writing about this because the user interface for the old program was terrible, and having used Picard I can say that the interface for this program is far worse. Yet it does exactly what it claims to do fairly well. You throw mp3’s at it and normally you get matches back.
